Context
FNP, one of India’s leading gifting platforms, aimed to create a festive and immersive Christmas experience for 2023.
While Christmas has always been a key seasonal moment, consumer expectations around online experience and packaging had evolved — customers sought premium, visually rich, and emotionally engaging gifts, both in digital journey and physical unboxing.

Overview
To stand out in a competitive holiday market and increase gift orders, FNP needed to go beyond the product — and build a story-driven, joyful campaign across digital and physical touchpoints.
Key goals:
- Boost conversion and engagement through design-led storytelling
- Create a cohesive visual identity across digital and physical channels
- Enhance customer delight, especially for first-time gift receivers
Task
The project involved three creative tracks:
Microsite:
- Build a festive, high-converting microsite to showcase Christmas collections — cakes, flowers, hampers, and personalized gifts.
Photoshoot:
- Curate and shoot Christmas-themed lifestyle imagery for both the microsite and social media campaigns.
Packaging Design:
- Design festive, elegant packaging that enhances the unboxing moment and reflects FNP’s brand warmth and premium feel.
Action
To achieve these goals, I took the following steps:
Research & Discovery:
- Conducted user interviews with Samsung customers to understand pain points in the financing process.
- Collaborated with Samsung US & finance teams to align with global FinTech best practices.
- Conducted competitor analysis to identify best-in-class finance UI/UX trends.

Wireframing & Prototyping
- Created low-fidelity wireframes to map the user journey.
- Iterated multiple UI designs based on feedback from Samsung stakeholders.
- Developed an interactive prototype for usability testing
Design Execution:

Microsite Development
- Created a mobile-first festive microsite with intuitive gift categories like “Secret Santa,” “For Him/Her,” and “Last-Minute Gifts”
- Integrated motion graphics and animated snowflakes to bring seasonal charm
- Added quick filters (price, type, delivery speed) and emotional CTAs like “Make Them Smile”
- Highlighted top bundles with festive tags like “Best Seller,” “Back in Stock”
Packaging Design
- A special limited edition gourmet box was created for christmas, that will encapsulate assorted goodies, cookies and chocolates. This limited edition christmas box was designed
- Streamlined the onboarding and verification process for quick loan approvals.

Results
The Christmas 2023 campaign brought measurable impact in both brand perception and customer engagement:
- 27% increase in microsite conversion rate compared to previous festive season
- The photoshoot visuals also extended the campaign’s life, being repurposed for Instagram Reels, festive WhatsApp promos, and B2B catalogues — creating continuity beyond Christmas day.
